Finally got time to post, wanted to do this weeks ago but didn't have time to do so :/

Hi guys, I'm DailyNeeded's owner and the site wasn't maintained by me around a month ago, it was a volunteer editor, and I thank you.

Blizzard has just released a new patch for Warcraft III. The new 1.24c is NOT compatible with 1.24b, meaning you cannot connect with other players to play games or watch old version replays. Although you can see and enter the other games in LAN, you will be disconnected immediately after game is loaded. This is the problem from the Warcraft III itself. Please be careful and make sure you are playing with others using the same version.

Garena will release a patch to separate 1.24b and 1.24c so the players with different version won't be able to see each other's game. It is not recommended to update your Warcraft to 1.24c until Garena releases the patch and creates more dedicated 1.24c-only room.

Warcraft III 1.24c patch was released just recently . This patch fixed a few bugs , however for those World Edit users like IceFrog and others map creators. Very unfortunately , most of the Map Hacks does not YET support 1.24c . So it might crash your Warcraft III while playing.
However , Cqccyh's updated his hack ( private hack ) , which now support Map Hack for 1.24c !

If you guys wanna have a hack that will work no matter the patch and use it with no worries , i suggest you all purchase the private hack by Cqccyh. More info in http://www.garenahack.cn/

For those who are curious in the changes of the new patch 1.24c , here is it.

We are banning the 2nd batch of accounts that have been discovered to be violating our Terms of Service, by using maphacks on Garena. The bans on the accounts will be effective immediately. This is to continue to safeguard the platform against abusive gamers and create a better environment for the rest of the Garena community.

This round we have banned over 5000 accounts.

Here are some helpful tips you can take to avoid getting banned.

1) Practice caution in letting other people use or borrow your account. They might be using a cracked version on the game. If they logged in your account using a cracked version, your account will get banned as well.

2) Check out the Garena version being used in cyber or LAN cafes. If it's a cracked version, DO NOT LOG IN with your account. You can help other gamers by informing the cafe owners to uninstall the cracked version and use the official Garena platform.

3) Avoid visiting Garena crack websites. As it's in the nature of their website to defraud and attack other programs, they might be aiming for your account as well.

4) Never try any maphacks. Make sure your warcraft file is safe and not injected. If you are not sure, please download the 1.24b patch from Blizzard site

Always remember to download the official Garena version from website, www.garena.com. Do not accept any files sent to you claiming to be official versions. This might compromise your account and lead to a ban. If you are unsure of your version, you can uninstall and re-download the Garena client on the website.

Some people have been asking me recently if Dota 6.64 / Dota 6.65 are my last DotA versions. I was also asked this for the 6.60 patch as well. As I've said countless times before, I am going to keep updating DotA for a very long time. The quality and growth of the game is very important to me, so you can expect many more updates to come in the future. Hope that clears stuff up :)

I have some really awesome news I'd like to share with you guys. I am now leading a team at Valve! I finally have all the resources needed to do some very exciting stuff that you guys will love. I look forward to revealing more specific details when the time is right.

My goal and top priority in the future is to solve the surrounding issues that affect the DotA experience in order to allow it to reach new heights. Addressing these issues will enable us to further enjoy aspects of DotA such as the gameplay, mechanics, and in-game feel that currently work well and ought to be maintained. As I've said many times in the past and especially after today's developments, I am very excited about DotA's future!

With regards to the 6.64 patch, the focus will be primarily on more balance improvements. It is moving along very smoothly and I expect to have it ready soon. Once those refinements are done, I'll be working on some fun new content such as heroes or remakes for the 6.65 version. If there are specific things, big or small, you want me to consider for patches that follow, let me know.
