All of them, instead of actually modifying the Garena.exe application modify the memory of the garena application, patching in the memory those bytes instead of the disk.
I'm pretty sure Garena admins will block memory patching on Garena as they blocked memory patching on Warcraft III (to disable mh).

After deep thought, I guess both projects will fail eventually.
